Growing Participation Profiles

Targeting Low Participation communities within New Zealand

Sport Waikato has publishing four National Growing Participation Profiles. These profiles align with the Moving Waikato 2025 Strategy and Moving Waikato 2020 Insights document and have been co-published with Sport NZ.

This series of profiles was generated to capture and define target markets that have been identified as low participation by Sport Waikato and Sport NZ, through the latest Active NZ Survey, Young Peoples survey, and national and international research papers.

The aim is to generate a series of documents that inform and enable the sport, physical activity and recreation sector to better target these markets.

For more information view the participation profiles below.
